  2A12 aluminum alloy belongs to Al-Cu-Mg series aluminum alloy, main features and application: This is a kind of high strength duralumin, can be strengthened by heat treatment, in the quenching and hardening state of plasticity, spot welding is good, with gas welding has a tendency to form intercrystal cracks, the alloy after quenching and cold hardening its machinability is good, after annealing machinability is low: Corrosion resistance is not high, often using anodic oxidation treatment and painting method or surface coated with aluminum layer to improve its corrosion resistance.

Typical use                            

  2A12 is mainly used to make a variety of high-load parts and components (but does not include stamping parts forgings) such as aircraft skeleton parts, skin, frame, wing ribs, wing spars, rivets and other working parts below 150℃.

6082Aluminium rod

Excellent weldability, corrosion resistance, formability and machinability

  6082 is a heat-treatable alloy with good formability, weldability, machinability and corrosion resistance, while having moderate strength, it can still maintain good operation after annealing, mainly used in mechanical structure, including bars, plates, pipes and profiles. This alloy has similar but not identical mechanical properties to 6061 alloy, and its -T6 state has high mechanical properties. Alloy 6082 is a very commonly used alloy product in Europe, and also has a high application in the United States, suitable for processing raw materials, seamless aluminum tubes, structural profiles and custom profiles. 6082 alloy usually has very good processing characteristics and very good anode reaction performance. The most common anodic reaction methods include removal of impurities and staining, coating, etc.

  Alloy 6082 combines excellent weldability, brazing, corrosion resistance, formability and machinability. The -0 and T4 states of alloy 6082 are suitable for bending and forming applications, and the -T5 and -T6 states are suitable for good machinability requirements. Some specific processes require the use of chip separators or other special processes to help separate chips. 6082 alloy usually has good processing characteristics and good anode reaction performance;

Typical use                                

  6082 is widely used in aviation fixtures, trucks, tower buildings, ships, pipelines and other applications in buildings requiring strength, weldability and corrosion resistance. Such as: aircraft parts, camera lenses, couplers, Marine accessories and hardware, electronic accessories and joints, decorative or various hardware, hinge heads, magnetic heads, brake pistons, hydraulic pistons, electrical accessories, valves and valve parts.
